Main additions include Amazon Fire line of devices, a couple of Apple devices, new Blackberry devices, Samsung devices (S5, S6, Galaxy), and many Xiaomi devices.

Xiaomi is a privately owned Chinese electronics company and the third largest smartphone maker in the world followed by Lenovo and LG. Given their significant and rapidly growing market share since the release of its first smartphone in August 2011, more of their devices were included on the list.

Lastly, of note is the Blackberry Passport with a square display (1440×1440). It can default to a desktop web browser for websites. Due to the high resolution, and unique physical dimensions, non-mobile websites are comfortably viewable and rendered legible on the screen. In addition, full websites are chosen instead of optional mobile versions. As a result, the CSS pixel ratio is listed as “1.0”. However, if mobile website viewing is enabled, the CSS pixel ratio should be “3.0” with a device-dimension of 480×480. Bravo to Blackberry for trying something different.
